Check the condition on infrastructure with underwater drones
Ports and marinas are frequently visited by both leisure boats and larger vessels that carry both people and heavy load. Facilitation and management of these infrastructures is an important task to ensure that the traffic runs as normal.
Harbors are naturally close to the water and are constantly exposed to the forces of the sea. Saltwater and harsh weather are tearing moorings and other structures. With underwater drones, port owners can perform frequent inspections of the state of the port, but also assist vessels that suspect damage or other problems below the surface.

Reducing time and HSE risk
Port owners are well familiar with the use of divers for different underwater missions. Using divers is often time consuming and expensive, but some times very necessary. When ports need help from divers, it's very effective to be able to document what job that needs to be done in advance but also being able to inspect that the job is done properly afterwards. Better planning saves both the customer and the diver time spent per job.
Share your underwater inspection on external screens with the Blueye Observer app
Sharing inspections with colleagues or other expertise onshore is easy. Multiple spectators can download and use the Blueye Observer App on their device or you can share your screen directly to a larger, external monitor.
The Blueye Observer App app is available for both iOS and Android units. After downloading, connect to the same WiFi network as the drone, launch the app and you'll see the same video stream on multiple devices. It's also possible to share live video feed on larger monitors. Connect the device running the Blueye Dive Buddy and the monitor with an HDMI cable or a custom docking station. By doing so you'll have a nice setup for multiple viewers.
Smooth data processing
The record function on the underwater drone enables you to document inspections. After finishing up the inspection, you can easily transfer your files to a smartphone, tablet or a PC using the Blueye app or the Blueye File Transfer.
